Black Hills 300 Blackout 110 Grain Tipped Triple-Shock X

Black Hills produces factory new ammunition equal to some of the best handloads and is quickly becoming one of most popular manufacturers of ammunition. Used primarily by all branches of the United State military, this ammunition is also used by competitive shooters and hunters. This ammunition is new production, in non-corrosive, in boxer-primed, reloadable brass cases.

The 300 Blackout provides users a larger caliber option to 5.56mm in the same platform size. The 300 Blackout has an efficiency advantage compared to the 5.56 when used in shorter barreled firearms. While a 10.5” barrel is generally considered to be a “short” barrel for 5.56mm, many .300 Blackout weapons have barrels as short as 5.5” while still retaining effective ballistics. With the recent surge in popularity of this cartridge and the many platforms for it, new projectiles are being specially designed for this cartridge to ensure optimum feeding and best performance.

Black Hills 300 Whisper Ammo 110 Grain Tipped Triple-Shock X ammo offers the following information; Black Hills loaded it with Barnes’ 110 grain TTSX projectile, which is made entirely out of copper to give it the ability to retain an exceptional amount of its weight as it hits its target. The TTSX features a polymer tip, which along with its shank’s rings drastically improves its ballistic coefficient. As the TTSX penetrates, its tip triggers immense double diameter expansion accompanied by the production of four razor sharp cutting petals.
