John Marallo (American, 1967- ) was born in Palm Springs, California. His fascination with photography and deep appreciation for the environment began as a child when he first laid eyes on National Geographic magazine. From those early years onward, his passion for photographing landscape and wildlife continued while pursuing a career in the motion picture industry. During the 90’s, John worked on a project in Tucson, Arizona and shortly thereafter produced “Wonders of Nature”, a fine art note card line of john’s photographs of the Arizona landscape and local wildlife that were distributed throughout Arizona. In 1995, John returned to Southern California where he continued his career in the entertainment industry. In 1998, John Marallo founded “The Final Image”, which provided locations and production related services for movies, television commercials, music videos, still photography shoots, and special events. Over the course of his 30-year career in film, John Marallo has worked with World renowned photographers such as Annie Leibovitz, Markku Lahdesmaki, Greg Gorman, Mark Seliger, Doug Menuez, Peter Rodgers, Micheal Eastman and directors like John Frankenheimer, Spike Lee and F. Gary Grey to name just a few. In 2007, John Marallo left Hollywood to pursue a personal vision in the fine arts. With a particular interest in surrealism, John’s imagery will take you on an imaginative journey into John’s private world. John Marallo currently lives in the United States, where he continues to work as a visual artist and photographer.
